[jira] [Created] (CALCITE-2390) Remove uses of X509CertificateObject, deprecated in current bouncycastle

Julian Hyde created CALCITE-2390:
------------------------------------

Summary: Remove uses of X509CertificateObject, deprecated in current bouncycastle
                 Key: CALCITE-2390
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-2390
             Project: Calcite
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: avatica
            Reporter: Julian Hyde

We upgraded to bouncycastle 1.59 in CALCITE-2361, and now the build gives warnings because X509CertificateObject is deprecated. bouncycastle javadoc suggests using CertificateFactory.

Kevin or Josh, can you fix this ASAP? We regard uses of deprecated APIs as a broken build.
