Where are my emails going

After running James successfully on a personal email server for ~1 year (awesome), I needed to reinstall on a new server. I figured I may as run the latest version. I have tried 2.1.1a4 and 2.1.1a5, then just 2.1, and I cannot figure what is going on?

When I SEND an email from my james account, to my james account (simple loop), no problems are reported. However when I RETRIEVE it, there are no messages waiting for me.

in the environment.xml, I set all my loggings to DEBUG. When I send a message, I see that the SMTP successfully put the message in the spooler. Checking the spooler log, I find the message was processed once and sent to "transport", then again and sent to "ghost". Does this give anyone a hint as to what is going wrong? When all is done, I cannot find my email in any of the mail directories (spam, error, inbox, etc...)

I see this problem on a fresh install, and after I modify the config.xml for my servername and DNS settings.

TIA,

Steve B.

Neither RecipientIsLocal nor HostIsLocal recognized the user and domain.
All sent the message to RemoteDelivery. RemoteDelivery queued the message
to go to sebscape.com, and marked the message for delivery from the spool
manager.

It doesn't appear that your server is recognizing the sebscape.com domain as
local.
