TortoiseSVN on Vista - 'files in use' problem while upgrading

Just joined this list, so I hope it's appropriate to post re:
TortoiseSVN client here...

I'm having a problem while trying to upgrade the client from a prev
one that's in use on my Vista system. I get the msg that the following
apps are in use:

TortoiseSVN status cache process
Windows Explorer

Does anyone have any idea how to get around this and successfully
complete the upgrade?

TortoiseSVN has it's own users list:  this list is for developers
working on the svn core libraries.  Try re-sending to
users@tortoisesvn.tigris.org.
