Help on DOMNode* release..

Hi,

I am new to Xerces and XML. Can anyone of you help me in knowing how to
release a DOMNode*. Are there any known instances of memory leaks. I am
using the xerces C++ libraries and my application works on Win2k.

Warm Regards,
Jomy

You never have to release a DOMNode. It belongs to the DOMDocument and the
document is responsible for memory allocation/deallocation. As long as you
delete all documents you have created then you'll be fine. Btw, a parsed
DOMDocument is owned and deleted by the parser unless you adopt it.
