Hello Community,

As you already might know, Apache Software Foundation is planning to organize a first-of-its-kind Apache Hackathon in Bangalore in the last weekend of March.

Nick Burch, VP of the Conference Committee at ASF, is visiting India, and would like to be part of the Hackathon.

What we are looking for is a whole day event, with Bar Camp style talks for much of the day, and a bit of coding during the second half of the day.

Now, we need a task force to make it happen! A task force that can drive the entire program from planning to executing.

If interested to join and volunteer in whatever capacity you can, please reply to this mail.

Meanwhile, if you are in touch with other Apache Communities in Bangalore (Hadoop/Cassandra/ any other groups) please spread the word about the event. We need a good participation from all the communities in Bangalore.
