[jira] Updated: (AXIS-1875) Serializable JavaServiceDesc et. all

David Blevins updated AXIS-1875:
--------------------------------

    Attachment: serializable.patch

> Serializable JavaServiceDesc et. all
> ------------------------------------
>
> Key: AXIS-1875
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-1875
> Project: Axis
> Type: Improvement
> Versions: 1.2RC3
> Reporter: David Blevins
> Priority: Blocker
> Attachments: serializable.patch
>
> Here is a patch that makes the JavaServiceDesc, OperationDesc, ParameterDesc, and all related descriptors and (de)serializers serializable. Geronimo builds a JavaServiceDesc for every j2ee webservice at deploy time as serializes it as an attribute of the server configuration. This is a high priority patch for us. We actually can't use the cvs version of Axis till this patch is applied, so I have marked this patch as "Blocker" to be clear. We'll be using a custom built snapshot in the meantime.
