If we intend to move split calculation into TezRootInputInitializer then it will probably remove some of the code added in this and TEZ-46. e.g. there will be no need to set the payload on the inputdescriptor and then clear it and reset it on the inputdescriptor via the new event added in TEZ-46. There would be api changes for the end user too. Do we want to make both changes back to back? OR skip this one for the other?
