When there are 2 entities with navigation properties as below

 <Property Name="ID" Type="Edm.Guid" Nullable="false"/>
 <Property Name="amount" Type="Edm.Int32"/>
 <NavigationProperty Name="parent" Type="com.sap.model.bookshop.CatalogService.Orders" Partner="Items">
 <ReferentialConstraint Property="parent_ID" ReferencedProperty="ID"/>
 </NavigationProperty>
 </EntityType>
 <EntityType Name="Orders">
 <Key>
 <PropertyRef Name="ID"/>
 </Key>
 <Property Name="ID" Type="Edm.Guid" Nullable="false"/>
 <Property Name="netAmount" Type="Edm.Decimal" Scale="0" Precision="5"/>
 <NavigationProperty Name="Items" Type="Collection(com.sap.model.bookshop.CatalogService.OrderItems)" Partner="parent">
 <OnDelete Action="Cascade"/>
 </NavigationProperty>
 </EntityType>

 

Then the url of the form Orders(<ID>)/items(<ID>) does not work. The error obtained is "The key value is not valid.".
