Might be worthwhile to see if we can wrap MasterMonitorInfo and/or TabletServerStatus in some kind of annotated class (jaxb rings a bell) that would insulate us better from additions at the thrift layer. We could just enumerate the elements instead of having to explicitly know what's there.
