Release candidate #2 for the Apache Knox 1.6.0 release is available at:

A documentation JIRA is something that is an outstanding description of a
feature.
The issue here is one of usability.
Clicking on the Token Management or Generation links in the homepage
results in a 500 error with no indication as to what is wrong.
The feature and its links should be enabled or disabled and when enabled it
has to be usable.
If such a fix is going to be too involved to get done today, I can buy an
entry in the Known Issues of the ISSUES file as long as it has sufficient
enough instructions to properly enable the feature.

for that alias being created (as well as documenting the features
themselves):

* Verified basic functionality for HDFS, Hive for both the gateway server
and KnoxShell client
* Tested logout from home page
* Found the following issues most of which are not blockers:
1. New Token Management and Generation pages are broken by default due to
lack of hmac value configured - POTENTIAL BLOCKER
2. Typo in homepage example links for webhdfs endpoints - NOT A BLOCKER
3. Type in homepage example for Hive - NOT A BLOCKER
4. Unit test noise from ZK connection failures in logs - NOT A BLOCKER
I believe that #1 is a blocker in its current state.
We need to either disable the links until the proper configuration is in
place or generate an hmac value when not explicitly configured and warn
that it will not work with HA deployments in logs.
I'd love to see a Knoxtober release for Apache Knox - so if we can get an
RC3 with an easy fix, I can verify the fix quickly and move my previous
testing forward.
Here is my -1 but perhaps someone can convince me that it isn't a blocker.
