Base on the code guide of SimpleApp in https://spark.apache.org/docs/latest/quick-start.html, I could not run the SimpleApp code until I modify  "val conf = new SparkConf().setAppName("Simple Application")" to "val conf = new SparkConf().setAppName("Simple Application").setMaster("local")".
So the document might be modified for the beginners.
The error of scala example is as follows:

Exception in thread "main" org.apache.spark.SparkException: A master URL must be set in your configuration
	at org.apache.spark.SparkContext.<init>(SparkContext.scala:206)
