[ANNOUNCE] Raise the minimum JDK version of Apache TsFile to 17
Hi all,
Thanks for the discussion and the +1s [1].
The PR has been merged:
https://github.com/apache/tsfile/pull/830
Starting from the current develop branch, the minimum JDK requirement for Java TsFile is now
JDK 17. JDK 8 is no longer supported for building or running the Java module.
This change also refreshed related Java dependencies, including ANTLR 4 and Logback, and
updated the CI workflows and documentation accordingly.
Please make sure local development and downstream build environments use JDK 17 or newer.
