reg printing of japanese char in fop pdf file

Hi,
Iam using the acroreader 4.0 version.
I am able to see the Fop-0.18.1-DEV /docs/examples/advanced/cid-fonts.pdf file 
in aroread(including japanese charactrs),
but If I give a print it is not printing anything(not even one of three).
Is it a bug in fop or acroread?
