After some research we found the problem with Nexus restarting is the fact that the zone runs out of memory.
This problem is NOT limited to Neuxs, this also effects httpd, sendmail, and other application.

Resolution: Fixed
Just had a chat with Brian Fox last night, we agreed that this is not really needed now, as we think the immediate fix is to reboot the zone this is on.
It is entirely possible this zone can be migrated to a jail/vm in the short term if we want to deprecate the hardware this zone is on.
