[users@httpd] mod proxy ajp: access forbidden

I use ajp to connect to one Tomcat host, which works fine. But all other 
connections fail with a 403 access forbidden.

In the error log the only thing I see is

[warn] proxy: No protocol handler was valid for the URL /. If you are using 
a DSO version of mod_proxy, make sure the proxy submodules are included in 
the configuration using LoadModule.

Which doesn't quite make sense, as I have included mod_proxy & mod_proxy_ajp

Any ideas?
