[users@httpd] errorLog to syslog

Hi all

I am trying to get apache to log to syslog .. and this is how i configure apache.. today..

ErrorLog syslog:local4.*

and in syslog i have

local4.* @test-1
local4.* /var/log/httpd/error_log

ok test-1 is to be central syslog server.. but i dont get the error to that server.. .. note i have the same config snipplet in the central syslog server.

it this right.. to put " ErrorLog syslog:local4.* " this line insted of ErrorLog /var/log/httpd/error_log

or ..is this.. crap..

regards
Siggi

This is the problem 'local4.*' is not a valid facility name - you just want
'syslog:local4'.
