For HDFS file system 
CarbonFile logFile = FileFactory.getCarbonFile(filePath, FileType.HDFS);
if filePath does not exits then
Calling CarbonFile.getPath() throws NullPointerException.
Solution:
If file does not exist then file must be created first.
