DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49981] New: Requesting SSLCertificateKeyFile Dialog functionality

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49981

           Summary: Requesting SSLCertificateKeyFile Dialog functionality
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.16
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_ssl
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: lmeyer@vmware.com

We would like to use a key management system that we pull keys from on demand
over the network, allowing the user that the web server runs as to obtain only
its keys.

We want to hook Apache into that system; we tried to use a named pipe, but ran
into https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49980

In any case, it would be a nice additional feature to allow the key to be read
from a command like the SSL Passphrase Dialog function.
