[jira] [Commented] (LEGAL-190) ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Statement on the websites

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-190?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13882450#comment-13882450 ]

Andrea Pescetti commented on LEGAL-190:
---------------------------------------

I mean Title 3 of the US "Americans with Disabilities Act", http://www.ada.gov/ada_title_III.htm

It seems clear, searching the Internet, that some institutions see their website as a "public accommodation" as defined there.

> ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Statement on the websites
> ---------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: LEGAL-190
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-190
> Project: Legal Discuss
> Issue Type: Question
> Reporter: Andrea Pescetti
>
> It would probably be good to have uniform ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) statements for all the public websites of the Apache projects.
> Can we agree on a common page/text?
> This is loosely related to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-164 (a similar issue, but for DCMA notices).
