This was confusing to me since I would have assumed that if no namespace labels match the `namespaceSelector`, then no namespaces should be watched.
   
   This logic is fixed in our upcoming v1.5.0 release. The release has entered the release window, and voting is currently underway. will be published soon https://lists.apache.org/thread/tmmlbys8y82t9v7kf4xjzhjxvp2lsqlt
