[jira] [Created] (CAY-1969) Malformed EJBQL Yields NPE
Andrew Lindesay created CAY-1969:
------------------------------------
Summary: Malformed EJBQL Yields NPE
Key: CAY-1969
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAY-1969
Project: Cayenne
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Core Library
Affects Versions: 4.0.M2
Reporter: Andrew Lindesay
Fix For: 4.0.M3
When you issue an EJBQL query where an entity variable is missing, at execution time an NPE is raised. It should throw a more descriptive exception. An example query would be;
{noformat}
SELECT b FROM Artist a
{noformat}
