Client Redirection

Hello again,

I have a domain that I would like to utilize for the http://1.2.3.4:8080/client -- I do not wish to continue to use the IP address.

I am having trouble finding document ion on how or where to utilize a custom domain name.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Maurice

Hi, just set it up in DNS.

CloudStack operates on a port (8080) so no matter the ip or domain name, you can access it on that port

depending on whether or not you want this to locally resolve or resolve
globally (on the internet for the world to resolve).

locally you can edit your /etc/hosts file

globally can be done easily with a domain name registrar...

You don't have to do any configuration on the CloudStack server to do
this. Adding the DNS entry should be enough.

Best regards,
