What is Block Pool ID namenode?
Hi Guys,
In my node namenode page I seen
Started:Wed Feb 27 12:41:28 EST 2013 Version:2.0.0-cdh4.0.1,
4d98eb718ec0cce78a00f292928c5ab6e1b84695 Compiled:Mon Sep 24 13:30:27 EDT
2012 by dracdemo from Unknown Upgrades:There are no upgrades in
progress. Cluster
ID:cluster26 *Block Pool ID:**BP-1936777173-172.16.30.122-1343141974879*
what is actually mean Block pool id please guide me.

How to understand the sequence.

it is used for HDFS federation, if you have more than one NN in your
cluster, block pool id is different for each NN.
