Access multiple external databases from BPEL process

Hello everyone,

I need to set up BPEL processes that interact with multiple external
databases using ODE. However, when searching the mailing list and other
sources, I only saw references to using a single database for ODE
itself, not for BPEL processes running on ODE. I've also looked at the
test examples for external variables in svn, but they don't include the
proper configuration for Tomcat, etc. Hence, I'm stuck with the error
"Data source reference not found". Can someone help or point me to some
examples that have the Tomcat config included? Thanks in advance.

Hoang

Hi Hoang,

IMHO, you must use some thing like WSO2 Data Services[1], to expose your DBs
as web services and then call the services from your BPEL processes. I have
discussed this issue here[2]. If you need help on WSO2 Data Services you can
use forums on wso2.org.

Thanks
Milinda
