[Issue 126576] New: Banner that I can't close

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126576

          Issue ID: 126576
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Banner that I can't close
           Product: Infrastructure
           Version: current
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OSX, 10.10
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Downloads
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: gbarker1023@gmail.com

When I open "Open Office," a get a message I cannot clear which reads,
the last time you opened Open Office.org. it unexpectedly quit while reopening
windows, Do you want to try to reopen its windows again.
If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the
windows yourself.

Following this statement are two boxes, Don't Reopen and Reopen

It does't matter witch box I choose, the message will not leave the screen. I
can use open office as normal but when I close Open Office the the above box
remains on my desktop. The only way I can close it is to go to the apple and
select force quit, select Open Office and forcibly quit it. I know that is not
normal but I can't find a way to fix it. Can you help?

Thanks, Gene

The described behavior is not typical. AOO works fine with MacOS.
A very large proportion of problems in OpenOffice are cured by deleting or
renaming the User Profile. Details about it are given in:
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=12426

If this does not work, please bring your problem at the support Forum first.
