Currently users of {{MetricsHandler}} API have to specify group, prefix and property separately, and it's difficult to select precisely multiple items without inadvertently pulling in other partially matching items.

Additionally, {{prefix}} syntax always requires a scan through all available metrics in a registry, unlike accessing a single concrete metric by key.
