[ANN] Apache Compress Ant Library 1.0 Released

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

The Ant team is proud to announce the first release of the compress Ant
library.

The compress Ant library[1] is a library of tasks and types that use
Apache Commons Compress[2] to read and write AR, CPIO, TAR and ZIP
archives as well as BZIP2 and GZIP compressed files and streams.

For the formats that also supported by Ant's core this library not only
uses a different implementation for the actual archiving/compression.
The <zip> and <tar> tasks provide a superset of functionality of both
core tasks and the <unzip> task and <zipfileset> type can read from
non-filesystem resources as well.

The Ant library can be downloaded as binary
<http://ant.apache.org/antlibs/bindownload.cgi> or source
<http://ant.apache.org/antlibs/srcdownload.cgi> distributions.

The library requires Apache Ant 1.8.0 or later as well as Commons
Compress 1.1 which is not part of the Ant libraries' distribution.
