[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-9424) 3.X Schema Improvements

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-9424?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14579518#comment-14579518 ]

Sebastian Estevez commented on CASSANDRA-9424:
----------------------------------------------

Can we make it so this includes changing to a more strongly consistent schema (maybe using cas)? This would be to avoid back to back create statements from generating the exact same table with two cf id's when the schema hasn't settled.

> C* schema code is both more brittle and less efficient than I'd like it to be. This ticket will aggregate the improvement tickets to go into 3.X and 4.X to improve the situation.
