Cannot deploy the myfaces-example properly :(
Hello all
I have problems with the myfaces-examples web application!
I follow the instructions of the myfaces web site but I cannot view the
application correctly. I even reinstalled the tomcat 5.5.7 and deployed
the web application but with no results.
After the deployment of the war file, I visit the default page of the
web application but I dont get a response. The status bar of firefox has
the "Done" message but the only thing that I can view is the white
background!
Do you know what is wrong? Do I do any mistake?

No that I removed those libs it works fine! However, do I miss anything
by removing those jar files?

Kostas,
try to remove jsp20.jar and commons-el.jar
from myfacesXXX/Web-Inf/lib
that should help.

This is a bug (not sure who's, Myfaces or Tomcat) and is covered in the
