Problem with recompile
Hi there,
I am fairly a beginner with Java and am trying to edit the .java files from
within the Lucene HTML Demo. How do I get the updated Java files to work? Do
I compile the Java source? Where does the .class file go? I've tried
searching the web which led me back to the build file for Lucene. However, I
have followed procedures and built Lucene using Ant and the build.xml file.
However there is only a single JAR file which does not contain the Demo
folder within which I had inserted the modified .java file.
Basically if I change any part of the .java file in development, how do I
get to see the changes?

If using ant, you can directly compile the demo files with "ant
compile-demo". The resulting class files will be in "./build/classes"

Use Ant - http://ant.apache.org - to build the Lucene source code.
