Re: [DISCUSS] impala-shell only release (4.6.0?)
Finally uploaded impala-shell 4.6.0 to pypi:
https://pypi.org/project/impala-shell/4.6.0/
tagged the source version:
https://github.com/apache/impala/tree/impala-shell-4.6.0
Also created impyla release 0.24.0:
https://pypi.org/project/impyla/0.24.0/
This was important to avoid conflicts from pinned Thrift dependency, which
was bumped from 0.16.0 to 0.23.0 in both projects. Otherwise pip install
impala-shell impyla
would return an error.
Both impala-shell and impyla need Python >= 3.8 with the new releases.
