# Bug Report
## Problem
Ionic iOS application does not go past splash screen and does not log any errors or warnings on Xcode.
### What is expected to happen?
After building app for ios successfully app should start normally.
### What does actually happen?
After running ``` ionic cordova build ios --prod ```, opened the workspace and run the app on an ios device the app does not go past the splash screen, and does not log any errors in the Js console.

This is correct however you do still need this plugin if you are also supporting other platforms. Version 5.0.1 introduced a change to stop the installation of this plugin for cordova-ios@6. But there was a bug that caused the plugin to still clobber the js variable, which was only resolved in v6.0.0 of the splash screen plugin.
The OP in his reproduction app has the splashscreen pinned to ^5.0.2. I don't have a mac to test with, but he should be using at least 6.0.0 of the plugin.

**Here is what I did. Maybe it might help**
- I updated splashscreen plugin to latest.
- Removed WEB_SQL usage,
- Updated Inappbrowser to latest
- cordova plugin add @ahovakimyan/cordova-plugin-wkwebviewxhrfix
**My environment**
- cordova-ios version : 6.1.1
- cordova version : 10
- iOS 13 and 14
This solved the issue of being stuck at spalshscreen but then I ran into cookie issues with my OAuth host :(

Not sure what could be the issue, but my guess is that it has something to do with cookies since I see a HTTP request failure. Maybe [this ](https://github.com/OneSignal/OneSignal-Cordova-SDK/issues/450#issuecomment-467476082)is linked to your issue

You may have `^5.0.4` pinned somewhere such as your `package.json` or `package-lock.json` file.

Stuck on splashscreen normally means a JS error, since you've stated that the console does not show one nor the Xcode logs: We need a minimal reproduction repository to debug and later fix this issue. I have done this and now its a blank white screen.
When I uninstall and install the splashscreen plugin the latest version installed is ^5.0.4

if you are using a older version of splash screen, just remove the plugin and add it agin, older version splash screen has some issues with 6.0 and above
