Send PingMyBox mails to notifications@ ?

It seems to me that the PMB mails ought to go to the notifications@
list instead of dev@

Agreed?

I assume this would require an Infra request.

+1.  Keeping human communication separate from purely automated and
structured mails is helpful for newcomers to understand the flow of the
active work on a project.

Infra prefers JIRAs to track their work.
