[jira] [Commented] (KAFKA-2822) DescribeConsumerGroup now returns empty list for non-existent group, it used to throw IllegalArgumentException

Ashish K Singh commented on KAFKA-2822:
---------------------------------------

[~hachikuji] I am guessing this was an intended change, however just want to make sure that we want to stick to returning empty list if consumer group does not exist. If so, the test and consumerGroupCommand's behavior will have to be changes accordingly.

> DescribeConsumerGroup now returns empty list for non-existent group, it used to throw IllegalArgumentException. This is causing testDescribeConsumerGroupForNonExistentGroup to fail.
