Assigning back to Philip, I don't think there is much we can do since it most likely a python problem and even then the workaround would have to be in the driver.

If we need to support python 2.6.x versions other than 2.6.9 please let me know which ones.

If you can reproduce with 2.6.9 please let me have the required security settings and steps to reproduce, since I couldn't.
