Test Cases Failing

I have successfully installed CouchDB but some of the test cases fail. For example "uuids". How do I correct the failed test cases?

Michael,

What version is reported by an http request against the root of your
couchdb? eg: GET http://localhost:5984/

Did you compile from trunk or from the 0.8.1 release?
