    @as22323 Really appreciate the effort to get this working across OSes. My concern with this approach is that ansible.cfg is a file necessarily tracked by our Git repo. Any change to it will be reflected in a `git status` command, which is probably not what we want because it will require users to remember to undo the changes anytime they commit. Ideally, we'd be able to defer to Ansible to intelligently choose its pattern based on the OS rather than specifying it externally.
