Hi,

I just added myself to this mailing list and have only seen the postings
from last month
(so forgive me if this thread has been worked to a satisfactory conclusion).


I have also found that regexp patterns which use { min , max } quantification
can become extremely slow. It appears to be an exponential increase in time
with relation to (max - min).

Also, on an unrelated note, I just posted a bug report (#986) because I found
that word boundaries ("\b") don't work unless they're at the very end of
a pattern.
