Avoid Parsing Input Documents

Hi,
Does the SimpleTransform example parse both the Input files - xml and xsl
for well-formedness and then transform the xml file using xsl provided?
If so, is it possible to avoid it?
I have a situation in which I am sure that both my xml and xsl files are
well formed.
I donot want to parse them but just transform my xml thereby reduce response
time.  Is it possible?
