[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-13942) /api/cluster/zk/* to fetch raw ZK data

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-13942?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17689197#comment-17689197 ]

Jason Gerlowski commented on SOLR-13942:
----------------------------------------

Revisiting this ticket again recently, and I'm a little confused about what happened to the idea of deprecating /admin/zookeeper.

It seemed like something that there was general consensus around if we were going to add yet another set of expose-the-zk-data endpoints. But then afaict it just never happened?

Was there some technical reason we weren't able to deprecate them? Or some other reason it had to be shelved? Does deprecation still make sense to folks at this point?
