I cann't see the topics I created on the admin management console after I restart mq service

I open admin console, create two topics and two queues,restart mq service,
then I open admin console, and I cann't see the topics while the two queues
still exists.I wonder why, please help me,I am a newbie in activemq

Topics are non-persistent by nature, when the broker is restarted these 
will go away unless you manually define them in your ActiveMQ 
configuration file.
