[jira] [Created] (JAMES-2133) Tests should be run against a
Dockerized cassandra
Matthieu Baechler created JAMES-2133:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Tests should be run against a Dockerized cassandra
Key: JAMES-2133
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-2133
Project: James Server
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: cassandra
Affects Versions: 3.0.0
Reporter: Matthieu Baechler
Tests make use of cassandraunit that run an embedded cassandra server.
It makes it hard to test new cassandra version.
It also make classpath very heavy, the GC overloaded, the lifecycle not really manageable, and so on.
Using cassandra in a container should remove these restrictions.
