It is reasonable to add new examples with same functionality as existing Amazon Alexa and Google DialogFlow (CX version) examples.
It allows to compare approaches, find advantages and possible disadvantages, and as a result it should help to extend documentation or write some articles. 

Also it can help to detect some possible gaps in design.

I guess it is better to reproduce some Amazon Alexa and Google DialogFlow (CX version) example maximum mostly similar to the original. 
(Note that existing `pizza` example  isn't similar to Amazon Alexa pizza example. We can add new pizza variant or choose some other example etc)
