virtual hosts failing

Did something in 1.1b1 change w.r.t virtual hosts that'd
cause   uk.imdb.com  to work correctly from Netscape and
not from lynx/telnet. 

Must be a Host: thing.
The server was running 1.0.3 until I put 1.1b1 in. I didn't configure the
VH stuff and don't know enough about it.

Ideas anyone ?  (if you reply quickly, please CC this address)
