optional.jar & JUnit

Sorry to bother the list again, but I'm still not able
to use the <junit> tag.

I followed Peter's advice: I downloaded the release
build of Ant again, just to be safe, added
optional.jar to the lib directory, and checked
taskdefs/defaults.properties to make sure that junit
was in there (it was).

But when I ran Ant against a build.xml that contained
a <junit> tag, it complained that the task wasn't
defined.  

What step did I miss?  Thanks - MOD
