[new user] mod_dav_svn doesn't install
Hi,
I am trying to install subversion on red had linux 9. Since i had an
older apache running before, I erased it and installed the httpd and
other related rpm's found at the subversion red hat download link:
http://summersoft.fay.ar.us/pub/subversion/latest
However mod_dav_svn is not being installed in the /modules dir of httpd.
Can someone please help?
Thanks in advance.

Locate searches in a database. You probably forgot to update the
database. Check 'man locate' or 'man updatedb'. Note that the locate
database is normally updated automatically by cronjobs every night or
week.

John, thanks.
After installing subversion-server I was using locate to check if
mod_dav_svn was present, and it never did show anything. However it
did always get installed in the modules directory. Maybe i was using
locate the wrong way...or a problem with locate...or something else.

Did you install the subversion-server RPM? IIRC, that's the one that
contains mod_dav_svn.
If you did install the package, 'rpm -ql subversion-server' should tell
you where it installed the file.
