[jira] [Created] (AIRAVATA-2036) Error when tried to Approve a new gateway request gets the attached exception

Eroma created AIRAVATA-2036:
-------------------------------

Summary: Error when tried to Approve a new gateway request gets the attached exception
                 Key: AIRAVATA-2036
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-2036
             Project: Airavata
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: PGA PHP Web Gateway
    Affects Versions: 0.17-SNAPSHOT
         Environment: https://dev.scigap.org
            Reporter: Eroma
            Assignee: Nipurn Doshi

apart from the issue when we ask the domain and site URL from the request owner
1. Users can do lot of mistakes entering this exact format.
2. and there are several character restrictions

This is IMO little bit too much work for a simple gateway request.
So instead can we,
1. Auto derive the domain from the gateway URL they provide?
2. When user entering the site URL we ourselves can add the http:// and only take the actual text from them?
