[jira] [Commented] (AMBARI-24601) Ambari hosts page sort by disk usage not properly ordered

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-24601?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16605948#comment-16605948 ]

Hari Sekhon commented on AMBARI-24601:
--------------------------------------

Even more obvious without any filter I can see one slave at 55% (10TB), then an edge node at 8% (813GB) then another slave 37% (27TB) so this isn't ordered ascending or descending while the Disk Usage arrow is pointing upwards in the title column so it should be sorted.

Similar issue whether sorted ascending or descending and there is no host name filter right now.

> On Ambari Hosts page, sort by disk usage ascending isn't quite in proper sorted order.
>
> It appears to work but if you look closely there are imperfections where the sorting isn't correct.
>
> For example the top of the list is the least full and the bottom is the most full and generally the order looks correct but if you look closely in the middle I can see hosts at 56.05% (10571.8GB), 57.21% (10974.3GB), then 49.42% (7667.57GB), 43.93% (7778.41GB), then 49.76% (7720.89GB).
> You can see the subtle bar length differences on the screen but really need to hover to get the tooltip amounts for the above to show it isn't correctly ordered by either GB or % (I was thinking maybe it was ordered by one or the other but it goes up and down and back up as you scroll down).
> It's worth noting that I have a "host name: slave" filter on the page as I was only looking at datanodes.
