Tomcat and multi-processor support

Dear sir, madam,

I was wondering if Tomcat (4.0.6) is supported on multi-processor
environments. I'm currently testing a webapp on Tomcat 4.0.6 on a W2K
multi-processor environment. De processors are 2 Intel Xeon's. 
Is there a specific Tomcat version for multi-processor support. I heard that
the Apache httpd server is available as well for single- as for
multi-processor environments.
