[jira] [Commented] (YARN-9491)
TestApplicationMasterServiceFair>ApplicationMasterServiceTestBase.testUpdateTrackingUrl
fails intermittent
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-9491?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16824051#comment-16824051 ]
Prabhu Joseph commented on YARN-9491:
-------------------------------------
This issue happens when the {{RMAppImpl#getOriginalTrackingUrl}} is called before {{RMAppAttemptEventType.STATUS_UPDATE}} is handled. The issue reproduced consistently while running in a for loop of 1000 iterations.
{code}
@Test
public void iterateTest() throws Exception {
for (int i=0; i<1000; i++) {
System.out.println("I="+i);
setup();
testUpdateTrackingUrl1();
}
}
{code}
Added {{MockRM.drainEvents}} before the validation. The fix works fine when running in for loop.
